Our Mission

Pope John Paul II was unquestionably   one of the more important advocates for  the reconciliation between  Catholics and Jews. We want to make most Catholics and Jews aware of the  tireless work which John Paul II did toward this end.  It is the mission of  our Elder Brothers and Sisters Foundation, Inc. to develop an educational  vehicle through which the world would be reminded of this beautiful and  important legacy left by Pope John Paul II.

In coordination with  the Secretariat for Ecumenical and Inter-religous
Affairs of the United   States Conference of Catholic Bishops, we have developed a
simple brochure to be  used as an educational tool. The brochure is an easy
read and, at the same time,  has all the basic information of John PauI's II
position on Jewish related matters.  We intend that our program will become the most successful, widespread  grassroots effort ever to encourage better Jewish-Christian relations.

Our strategy is to work closely with the Catholic Church and with the Jewish
community to help realize our mission. In addition, it is our intent to
involve  all interested religions that are committed to ecumenical work as a
positive  step toward a better understanding among all the peoples of the  world.
