EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS

We have developed an action plan that includes three programs;

1.- Distribution of the Brochure John Paul II and the Jews- you can find a copy in three  languages  on  our website (www.ourelderbrothers.org). This four page brochure was reviewed by Dr. Eugene Fisher, a top scholar who spent more than 30 years at the US Conference of Catholic Bishops and is the only US  citizen  who is a Consultor (in Latin) to the Pope on Jewish Affairs.  

 Our goal is to distribute MILLIONS of these brochures all over the world, starting with  trying to reach Catholics, Jews and people of good faith. It is our goal that each new seminarist or student to the rabbinate should receive the brochure during the first week of classes or during their first semester of studies. At this stage a member of the faculty will address the document John Paul and the Jews.

2.- Universal celebration in every Synagogue and Catholic Church in the World on April 13 of every year commemorating John Paul II's visit to the Great Synagogue of Rome in 1986. The American Jewish Committe- Miami Chapter- is joint venturing this program with us starting on April 13/08. We invite the leadership of every Synagogue and Catholic Church to join us in this celebration.

3.-Working with Catholic and Jewish educational institutions so that they can include  modules about John Paul II and the Jews  in their curriculum.
